Front Entry Addition | Big Spirit

Our client's house didn't have a traditional front door and entryway. They had to enter their home through the exterior side door into the garage and then through the interior garage door into the house. They enlisted our help to build a custom entryway between the garage and the main level, as well as replace the exterior side door with an updated front door. We framed out an entryway space between the garage and the main level, built stairs from the garage to the main level, and installed a new front door on the side of the house. Next, we insulated and finished the entryway room with drywall, covered the cement cinder blocks with shiplap boards, installed vinyl flooring and vinyl treads/risers on the stairs, hung a new interior door leading from the entryway to the garage, added recessed lighting, and installed new baseboards and door casing in the entryway. Then, we painted the drywall, the original log walls and the trim. Lastly, we custom built and installed a floating bench with a chevron pattern on top.
