Bathroom | Little Spirit

Our client enlisted our help to transform their upstairs living area into a cozy and functional space for their kids and grandkids to stay during their visits. We converted the existing two-bed bunk room into a full bathroom, then designed and built a custom six-sleeper bunk bed to accommodate their growing family (see Bunkbeds | Little Spirit). The new bathroom includes a alcove bathtub with a tiled shower surround, modern black hardware, and a built-in niche for bath products and toys. As the space is quite compact with limited storage, we added vertical cubbies for towels and bathroom supplies. To further optimize the layout, we replaced the existing swing door with a space-saving pocket door. Additional upgrades include new tile-look vinyl flooring, a custom shiplap accent wall, toilet, vanity, mirror, sconces, and coordinating bathroom hardware. Since there aren’t any windows for natural light or ventilation, we installed recessed lighting and an energy efficient bath fan.
